Job summary

Care Resource is seeking a Housing Inspector in Fort Lauderdale to coordinate HQS inspections for multiple voucher programs and ensure compliance with applicable regulations. You will work with landlords, tenants, and program staff to schedule and complete inspections, document findings, and support resolution of identified issues.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma is required.
• Two years of related experience in housing, homelessness services, or housing case management are required; HIV/AIDS training is preferred.
• Bilingual ability (English/Spanish or English/Creole) is required; strong customer service and confidentiality are essential.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate HQS inspections and related inspections, re-inspections, and special inspections.
• Explain HQS standards and regulations to landlords and tenants to promote good relations.
• Enter inspection results into the computer system in a timely manner.
