Job summary

MANTECH seeks a motivated HQ Systems Administrator to join our team in Doral, FL. You will install, configure, and maintain enterprise server hardware, OS, and virtualization across headquarters systems.

Responsibilities include AD management, patching, and documentation while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure high system availability and security compliance. A Top Secret clearance is preferred for DoD environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Systems Engineering, or related field with 5+ years of experience in systems administration.
• OR a master’s degree and 3+ years of relevant experience.
• OR an associate’s degree and 7+ years of relevant experience.
• OR a high school diploma and 9+ years of relevant experience.
• Proven experience administering Windows and Linux server operating systems, Active Directory, and virtualized enterprise environments.
• Hands-on experience with system patch management, baseline configuration management, and server hardware maintenance.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware, software, network services, and system access issues.
• Experience creating, maintaining, and communicating complex information technology documentation and system baselines.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining accurate configuration management records, technical system documentation, and operational baseline inventories.
• Recommending and implementing continuous process improvements to streamline IT administration and enterprise system efficiency.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Relevant professional certifications such as CompTIA Security+, Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate, or VMware Certified Professional (VCP).

• Prior experience supporting U.S. Military Command operations, Combatant Command environments, or Department of Defense enterprise technical environments.

• Familiarity with DoD STIG implementation, vulnerability scanning tools (ACAS), and secure baseline auditing procedures.

• Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively across multi-disciplinary engineering teams in fast-paced operational environments.

Clearance Requirements:

• Must hold a current/active top secret security clearance.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%.

• Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.

• Frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
