Job Description

Employee Responsibilities:

1. Perform method development, feasibility, qualification and/or validation of methods in support of large molecule biopharmaceutical products.
2. Document work as required for GMP compliance.
3. Perform tests accurately.
4. Troubleshoot method and instrumentation problems.
5. Use office and instrumentation specific computer software.
6. Produce documents (e.g., characterization reports, methods and client reports).
7. Develop and execute validation plans.
8. Give presentations for training and client reviews.
9. Train technical staff.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate would possess:

1. Experience with Protein Sciences, mainly protein and glycoprotein characterization.
2. Experience in High Resolution Mass Spectrometry.
3. Experience in HPLC (at least 1+ year applied).
4. Experience with other biochemistry techniques (e.g., amino acid analysis, glycosylation profiling).
5. Strong computer, scientific, and organizational skills.
6. Theoretical understanding of large molecule biochemistry.
7. Excellent communication (oral and written) and attention to detail.
8. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, self-motivation, adaptability, and a positive attitude.
9. Ability to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, keep accurate records, follow instructions, and comply with company policies.
10. Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience, either post-doctoral or in the bio/pharmaceutical industry.
11. Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship.

Additional Information
