Job Description

• Regular attendance and punctuality.
• Preparing analytical standards and reagents.
• Operating and maintaining laboratory equipment and instruments.
• Calculating results using Excel spreadsheets and/or instrumental software.
• Supporting clients Analytical Technology group by conducting wet-chemistry and instrumental analytical chemistry analysis on in-process, final batch concentrate (FBC), monovalent bulk concentrate (MBC) sample types.
• Documenting results in electronic laboratory notebooks and reviewing notebooks of peers.
• Supporting senior analytical chemists on various projects as assigned.
• Utilizing technical knowledge to identify, troubleshoot, and assist with resolution of process problems.
• Document experiment execution using an electronic lab notebook, batch record, and/or protocols.
• Prioritize and organize work to meet project deadlines and support team goals.
• Communicate effectively with co-workers and client staff members.
