Job summary

Eurofins Scientific in Sanford, NC is seeking an Analytical HPLC Scientist to support the Analytical Technology group with wet-chemistry and instrumental analyses on in-process, final batch concentrate samples. You will prepare analytical standards, operate and maintain instruments, and calculate results using Excel.

Results will be documented in electronic lab notebooks and reviewed by peers, with collaboration across senior chemists.

Qualifications

• Experience with wet-chemistry and instrumental analysis in a lab setting.
• Ability to prepare analytical standards and reagents.
• Familiarity with documenting results in electronic notebooks.

Responsibilities

• Conduct wet-chemistry and instrumental analyses on multiple sample types.
• Prepare analytical standards and reagents for experiments.
• Operate and maintain laboratory instruments and equipment.
• Calculate results using Excel and instrument software.
• Document findings in electronic laboratory notebooks and review peers' notebooks.
• Assist senior analytical chemists on assigned projects.
• Identify and troubleshoot process issues using technical knowledge.
• Receive vaccinations offered by the company (Hep B, Pneumovax 23, Menactra, Tdap).
