Advanced Measurement Technology (AMT) in Oak Ridge, TN, part of AMETEK, is seeking a Crystal Lab Technician to support the production of detector-grade germanium crystals. The role operates crystal growth furnaces, loads charges, and maintains records in a clean room environment on second shift.

You will assist with quality control, yield assurance, and inventory processes while performing routine equipment maintenance and troubleshooting to ensure continuous production of high-purity germanium

Responsabilidades

• Operate crystal growth furnaces and load charge into crucibles.
• Prepare zone-refined ingots for growth.
• Document crystal growth activities and maintain production records.
• Clean and maintain crystal growth equipment and clean room areas.
• Troubleshoot crystal growth equipment as needed.
• Assist with quality control and yield assurance activities.
• Support inventory control processes related to crystal growth operations.
