Job Description:

Job Family Definition: Sales Specialists & Consultants are responsible for leading pursuit in their focus areas, collaborating with Account Managers, and providing specialist expertise. They drive campaigns to build pipelines, prospect, qualify, negotiate, and close opportunities. They may have assigned accounts or cover specific geographies or high-potential accounts.

Management Level Definition: Recognized as an authority in relevant subject matter, contributing to innovative ideas, leading complex projects, mentoring, and developing strategies within their expertise area.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop long-term sales pipelines to increase market share.
  • Use expertise to identify new opportunities and expand existing ones.
  • Support Account Managers and set directions for business development.
  • Create and grow reference customers and sell complex solutions.
  • Establish professional relationships with clients, including C-level executives.
  • Maintain expertise on IT trends, applications, and budgets.
Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • Proven achievement in diverse sales responsibilities over 12+ years.
  • Network sales experience required.
Knowledge and Skills:
  • Mastery of product and competitor offerings.
  • Strong consultative and business development skills.
  • Deep understanding of client business and infrastructure.
  • Leadership in driving sales and leveraging company portfolio.
  • Effective at C-level engagement and strategic planning.
Impact/Scope:
  • Focus on larger accounts with significant customer interaction.
  • Higher than average quota responsibility.
