Job summary

A global automotive supplier is seeking a Program Quality Engineer based in Novi, Michigan. This role involves ensuring adherence to quality standards and customer expectations by overseeing the product development process and managing audits. Candidates should have 3-5 years of relevant experience in manufacturing and quality systems, preferably with a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering. Knowledge of AIAG quality standards and customer-specific standards is desired. Skills in project management, communication, and a proficiency in Korean are pluses.

Qualifications

• 3 - 5 years’ experience in manufacturing processes or quality systems.
• Experience focusing on customer expectations and deliverables.
• Knowledge of ASPICE and Functional Safety (ISO26262) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Ensure customer deliverables and requirements are understood and implemented.
• Participate in audits and verify that quality documents have been met.
• Manage the APQP process and ensure new model programs meet customer timing.

Skills

Knowledge of AIAG Quality standards (i.e. DFMEA, PFMEA, CP, PPAP etc.)

Strong project management and team leadership skills

Communication & negotiation skills

Ability to speak, read and write Korean

Education

Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering
