Job summary

KLA in Milpitas, CA is seeking a hands‑on engineer to design, deploy, and optimize Windows‑based environments for HPC and AI workloads. You will develop system images, automate deployments, and support compute, storage, networking, and GPU platforms in semiconductor inspection systems.

The role requires strong Windows Server expertise, PowerShell, and virtualization experience, with collaboration across software, hardware, and manufacturing teams. Primary location: Milpitas, CA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field; 3–5 years Windows Server deployment.
• Proficient in SCCM/Configuration Manager, MDT, ADK, WinPE, WDS.
• Experience with Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP; PowerShell automation.

Responsibilities

• Configure, deploy, and optimize Windows Server environments supporting HPC and AI workloads
• Develop and maintain system images, deployment processes, and infrastructure automation
• Support compute, storage, networking, and GPU-based platforms used in advanced semiconductor inspection systems
• Create and maintain deployment, monitoring, and diagnostic tools using PowerShell and Python
• Collaborate with software, hardware, manufacturing, and field teams to support product development and deployment
• Drive infrastructure refresh and scalability initiatives supporting future product generations
