Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Senior HPC Systems Site Lead to manage large-scale HPC and AI infrastructure at a national laboratory, onsite at Los Alamos, NM. The ideal candidate will coordinate onsite hardware, Linux systems, software and remote engineering resources, demonstrate strong Linux/HPC expertise and a track record of technical leadership.

Required TS/DOE-Q clearance, BS in related field, 4+ years Linux administration, enterprise hardware/data center experience, HPC/AI experience, Security+

• BS in a related field (required).
• Top Secret or DOE-Q Clearance, or ability to obtain it.
• 4+ years of Linux systems administration experience - RHEL, SLES or comparable.
• Enterprise hardware & data center experience: servers, compute nodes, networking/interconnects, storage, etc.
• Experience with High Performance Computing (HPC) systems, clusters, and large-scale AI infrastructure.
• Technical leadership: ability to lead onsite teams.
• Security+ certification.

Job Details

This role is a senior, hands-on technical leadership position supporting large-scale HPC and AI infrastructure at a national laboratory, with responsibility for coordinating onsite hardware, Linux, software, and remote engineering resources. The ideal candidate combines strong Linux/HPC and enterprise hardware troubleshooting skills with the ability to lead through influence, manage incidents and maintenance activities, and serve as the primary technical point of contact for the customer.

MUST HAVE:

• BS in a related field
• Top Secret or DOE-Q Clearance, or ability to obtain it
• 4+ years of Linux systems administration experience - RHEL, SLES or comparable
• Enterprise hardware & data center experience: servers, compute nodes, networking/interconnects, storage, etc
