Job summary

You will help design domain architectures, determine required server-based services, and contribute to delivering infrastructure.

The role involves maintaining HPC systems, upgrading software, developing web-based tools, and coordinating with the ETS team and vendors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or an Associate’s with 2+ years experience.
• Working knowledge of LINUX system administration including NFS, auto mount, Samba, ssh, TCP/IP, DNS and DHCP.
• Experience with HTML, CSS, Javascript, SQL, SQLite, and PHP, Python.
• Experience with High Performance Computing systems using Slurm or similar.

Responsibilities

• Manage existing HPC research clusters in the Scott Data Center.
• Provide programming support for research grants as needed.
• Maintain systems for software/OS upgrades and security patching.
• Develop webpages/tools to assist with the cluster and collaborate with the ETS team.
