Job summary

Stanley Reid, on behalf of our client, is seeking a Software Engineer to develop and maintain system management infrastructure for HPC environments. You will work in Linux, implement services, and collaborate on scalable solutions that meet DoD standards.

The role emphasizes designing, deploying software, debugging operational problems, and improving the software development lifecycle with emerging technologies. A strong scripting background and containerization experience are required.

Qualifications

• Master's or Bachelor's with significant software experience in Linux and HPC environments.
• Proficient scripting with Bash and Python; strong debugging skills.
• Experience with containerization and CI/CD pipelines; familiar with Git tooling.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain system management infrastructure software for HPC systems.
• Design, develop, and deploy software in a Linux environment.
• Troubleshoot and debug operational issues; improve security and reliability.
• Recommend new technologies to improve the software development lifecycle.
