Job summary

Erias Ventures, LLC in Annapolis Junction, MD seeks a Software Engineer to develop, sustain, and troubleshoot GHOSTGEM's software suite. You will implement, test, and integrate with COTS and FOSS components, using Linux, Python, Java, and Spring.

A current Top-Secret/SCI with polygraph clearance is required. A Master’s or Bachelor’s degree with years of SWE experience is required, plus strong skills in Linux, Java, Spring, MongoDB, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD tools.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university, plus two (2) years of SWE experience, or a bachelor’s degree plus four (4) years of SWE experience.
• Experience using the Linux CLI and Linux tools.
• Experience developing scripts using Bash/Python.
• Recent software development experience using Java.
• Recent software development experience using the Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring Data, Spring Integration).
• Experience with NoSQL databases including MongoDB.
• Experience with Docker and containerd; Kubernetes for orchestration.
• Familiar with messaging frameworks such as RabbitMQ and Kafka.
• Familiar with CI/CD tools (Bamboo, GitLab CI) and with IaC tools such as Ansible.
• Experience using Git Source Control System.

Responsibilities

Description

We are seeking a Software Engineer who shall be responsible for developing, sustaining, and troubleshooting GHOSTGEM's software suite of applications. Software development activities include implementation, testing, and integration with other COTS and FOSS products, packages, and libraries.

Clearance

A current Top-Secret/SCIwith polygraph security clearance is required. Candidates cannot be sponsored or nominated for a government security clearance under this position.

Experience
