Job summary

Viridien is seeking an experienced HPC CS Financial and Reporting Controller to ensure timely, accurate and compliant financial and strategic information is reported to leadership. The role supports budgets, forecasts, and three-year plans while coordinating with multiple stakeholders across the organization.

The ideal candidate has a strong FP&A/controlling background, IFRS 16 knowledge, and advanced data analysis skills.

Qualifications

• Financial background with accounting and controlling knowledge.
• Master's degree in business, finance or accounting.
• 10+ years in FP&A/controlling in a multicultural environment.

Responsibilities

• Present financial reporting to the Head of HPC and Cloud Solutions.
• Deliver and enhance reports for the Executive Committee: forecasts, indicators and presentations.
• Support budget and financial forecast preparation and planning.
• Contribute to 3-year business plan and annual budgeting.
• Coordinate reporting with Corporate, Business Managers and Local Controllers.
• Produce revenue, cash, AR, EBITDA, WC/CAPEX reports and related streams.
• Explain variances through bridges and ad hoc analysis.
• Provide KPI monitoring and insights to management.

Viridien is looking for HPC CS Financial and Reporting Controller to be part of our worldwide teams and work within an international high-tech company.

You will ensure that the financial and strategic information are timely, accurate, complete and compliant as well as properly reported to the Head of Business Line and Corporate.

Key Job Responsibilities

• Present the financial reporting to the Head of HPC and Cloud Solutions
• Deliver & enhanced the financial reporting that will be presented at the Executive Committee of the Group by the Head of HPC and Cloud solutions: instructions, forecast, key indicators and presentation,
• support management with the preparation of budget and financial forecasts,
• contribute to 3 years business plan and yearly budgeting processes
• coordinate and supervise reporting processes with multi-layer stakeholders ie. Corporate, Business Managers and Data Centers / Local Controllers,
• deliver expected reporting streams (revenue, cash collection, AR, OPINC, EBITDA, WC/CAPEX/Investment, cross-charge allocation...), and
• carry out analysis and explain variances (actual, budget, update, previous year) through bridges and ad hoc analysis.

Controlling

• provide support to Business Managers and cost controlling, with insightful analysis.
• monitor performance, report key variance and KPI's of the transverse departments of HPC and Cloud solutions Business Lines.

Projects

• assist HPC Business Managers in developing the external growth, revenue and capacity
• Enhance deliverables, model and platform with AI (MS Copilot, Claude)
• Perform and assist and strengthen IFRS 16 forecast through the BL (process and training)
• Revenue recognition, backlog and related operational processes
• Provide support to various projects (investments analysis, financing, audit)

Skills / Competencies

• Proficient with financial data analysis tools (MS Excel; data retrieve tools) and use of financial databases (OneStream)
• Proficient working level in PowerPoint
• AI skillset
• Analytical mindset
• High-performance communication skills, with the ability to work with executive level and multi-layers including both finance and non-finance stakeholders
• Dynamic, open-minded team player with a desire for continuous improvement
• IFRS 16 (or US equivalent) & debt financing knowledge, financial engineering

Background

• Financial background needed in accounting and controlling with good knowledge of accounting principles and reporting
• Master's degree in business, finance, accounting...etc
• 10 years of previous experience at a minimum in a FP&A/controlling role within a multicultural environment

Languages

• Fluent oral and written English
