Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a senior Linux systems administrator to support government accounts and manage advanced system administration tasks within an extensive lab environment. You will oversee hardware, network, and software environments and contribute to lab process improvements.

The role also involves mentoring junior staff and helping with lab expansions and transitions to new platforms while ensuring ITAR/EAR compliance and robust security practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, or a related technical field.
• 8–10 years of Linux system administration experience.
• Strong expertise in Linux system administration.
• Working knowledge of networking, storage, virtualization, and hardware platforms.
• U.S. citizen, U.S. lawful permanent resident/Green Card status or eligible for ITAR/EAR compliance.
