Job summary

HP and 2020 Companies have partnered to hire an HP Retail Sales Associate in your area! In this role, you will assist in driving sales and creating buzz around the HP brand in Best Buy and surrounding stores.

You will demonstrate products to customers and tailor demonstrations to their needs, building rapport with customers and store staff. Earn a stable weekly schedule with pay at $16.50 per hour plus a weekly performance bonus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 6 months prior sales, retail, telecom or marketing experience.
• Demonstrated knowledge of products and services.
• Excellent communications, presentation, interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Sell products and services in a retail store, kiosk, and/or event environments.
• Maintain professional interaction with customers and fellow employees.

About The Position

In this role, you will assist in driving sales and creating buzz and excitement around the HP brand and products in your local big-box retailer(s) and surrounding office supply stores. You will demonstrate products to customers and tailor demonstrations to their ideal needs. You will be responsible for building rapport with customers and professional relationships with store management and employees.

Day-in-the-Life

• Demonstrate HP products at Best Buy and surrounding office supply stores
• Engage and build rapport with customers by creating a memorable experience
• Responsible for maintaining professional relationships with management and staff within the assigned store
• Train retail store associates on HP products and services
• Maintain displays for cleanliness, functionality, and demo-readiness
• Responsible for reporting and competitive insights

• Training or product demonstration experience is a plus

Job Description

• Sell products and services in a retail store, kiosk, and/or event environments

• Customer/client satisfaction based on rejection percentage and substantiated complaints

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Six (6) months prior sales, retail, telecom or marketing experience
• Demonstrated knowledge of products and services
• Excellent communications, presentation, interpersonal and problem-solving skills
• Impeccable integrity and commitment to customer satisfaction
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, team environment
• Must be available to work evenings, weekends and holidays as needed
• Ability to maintain customer confidentiality
