Assisting Hand Home Care Northern Summit is hiring an experienced, Hoyer-trained caregiver for an afternoon shift. If you’re confident assisting with Hoyer lift transfers and looking for a consistent afternoon opportunity, we’d love to hear from you!

Qualifications

• Hoyer lift training and experience required.
• 1+ year professional caregiving experience preferred.
• STNAs and CNAs are welcome and encouraged to apply.
• Compassionate, dependable, and attentive.
• Strong communication skills.
• Able to work independently.
• Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and vehicle insurance.
• Ability to safely assist with transfers and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Safely assist with Hoyer lift transfers and mobility.
• Provide personal care including bathing, grooming, dressing and toileting.
• Provide companionship and support.
• Prepare meals.
• Help maintain a safe, clean home environment.
• Support the client in maintaining independence at home.
