Schulte Hospitality Group is seeking a dynamic, service-oriented Bartender to join our team at the Hoxton Portland for the Summer!

***This is a seasonal position from May to October***

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Set up the bar with appropriate levels of liquor, juices, and additives
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the bar, glasses, and cutlery
• Verify guest legal drinking age
• Prepare drinks according to standards and guest preferences
• Present bills and process payments
• Engage with guests to ensure satisfaction
• Monitor for overconsumption and take appropriate actions
• Secure and store beverages and equipment, handle cash drops
• Perform other duties as assigned

Education and Experience:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• At least three years of bartending experience
• Certification in bartending preferred
• Alcohol awareness certification preferred

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Experience in bartending and cocktail making
• A passion for hospitality and creating memorable experiences
• Ability to work well in a team and support colleagues
• Fluent in English, both spoken and written
• Open to trying new things and adapting to different situations
