The role emphasizes strong Revit/Navisworks proficiency, shop drawing production, and seamless collaboration with PMs, superintendents, and field crews on commercial, healthcare and industrial facilities.

Qualifications

• Experience in BIM coordination for electrical/infrastructure projects.
• Proficient in Revit and Navisworks for model management and coordination.
• Strong ability to read electrical drawings and sequences.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional coordination.
• Experience with shop drawing production and prefabrication packaging.
• Experience coordinating with PMs, superintendents, and field teams.

I'm currently partnering with a leading electrical contractor in Houston that is looking to add a VDC/BIM Coordinator to its growing team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who has experience supporting commercial electrical projects up to $5M and is looking to advance their career by working on projects valued at $50M+.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain electrical BIM models using Revit
• Perform clash detection and model coordination using Navisworks
• Produce shop drawings, installation drawings, and prefabrication packages
• Coordinate with Project Managers, Superintendents, field teams, and trade partners
• Participate in BIM coordination meetings throughout the project lifecycle
• Support large-scale commercial, healthcare, higher education, industrial, and mission-critical projects

What We're Looking For:

• Experience working for an electrical contractor
