Job summary

A leading global manufacturing firm in Houston is seeking a Project Controls Engineer to coordinate activities for small capital projects. This full-time, in-office role requires expertise in cost control, scheduling, and risk management across various industrial gas plant projects. The ideal candidate has a BS/BA in Business Administration or Construction, with over three years of relevant experience. Strong communication skills and certification as a PMP or AACE are advantageous.

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience managing project control or scheduling.
• Hands-on experience in project control in a construction environment preferred.
• Certified PMP-Project Management Professional and/or AACE-Certified Cost Engineer is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for cost budgeting and forecasting throughout the project.
• Monitor project costs against budget and collaborate with project managers.
• Develop contingency management plan and understand Work Breakdown Structure.
