Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Experience with Docker and AWS.
• Designs REST APIs and data interfaces.
• Automation scripting and production support.
• Application monitoring using Datadog.
• Git-based development workflows.
• Experience handling high-volume traffic.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, enhance, and support modern web applications and REST APIs.
• Develop and maintain applications supporting pricing, transaction management, supply, reporting, and utility operations.
• Work with PostgreSQL databases from an application development and administration perspective.
• Support PostgreSQL environments, including backups, disaster recovery, infrastructure upgrades, and performance considerations.
• Build and maintain containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Support AWS-based application infrastructure and cloud environments.
• Develop scripts to improve operations, monitoring, and reliability.
• Monitor production applications and infrastructure using Datadog.
• Participate in production support and troubleshooting of issues.
• Work with legacy stacks as part of modernization initiatives.
• Develop and integrate REST APIs and data interfaces.
• Work with data formats including EDI, XML, and CSV.
• Build web scraping solutions when required.
• Collaborate on data movements into platforms like Databricks.
• Contribute to system design, scalability, and best practices.
• Adhere to Git-based development workflows.
