Job summary

ChampionX in Houston, TX is seeking a Mechanical Assembler III to join a climate-controlled facility. The role involves reading work instructions, assembling products with various tools, and testing for conformance with specifications.

You will set up test stands, document results, and participate in continuous improvement efforts. The position requires high school or GED, 5 years of related manufacturing experience, and ability to work a 5:00 AM–3:30 PM schedule with overtime.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• At least 5 years of related manufacturing assembly and testing experience.
• Experience with ChampionX Flow Control products or similar is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Read work instructions and follow production drawings to assemble and test products.
• Assemble parts using hand tools, power tools, machines, and equipment.
• Set up test equipment and record conformance to specifications.
• Complete test documentation and quality inspections.
• Participate in Lean and continuous improvement initiatives.
