Job summary

Burrow Global LLC is seeking an experienced Instrumentation, Electrical and Controls (IE&C) Project Manager to lead control engineering projects for a leading oil & gas company in Houston, TX. This 12-month contract includes 25% travel with no per diem or relocation assistance; candidates must live within 50 miles of Houston.

You will oversee conception through commissioning, partnering with operations, engineering, and construction teams to improve safety, reliability, and process performance

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of project management experience.
• 15+ years of design, implementation, and support of control systems.
• 10+ years of I&E engineering and project execution.
• Strong budgeting, forecasting, and contractor management.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of PHMSA, OSHA standards related to control engineering.
• Ability to work independently with multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead control engineering and automation projects through all phases of execution.
• Define project scope, schedules, budgets, and resource requirements.
• Drive project tracking, status reporting, forecasting, and stakeholder communications.
• Develop cost estimates, obtain contractor bids, and manage expenditures.
• Review purchase requisitions and contractor invoices.
• Support commissioning, startup activities, and operations training.
• Identify and implement control system improvements for safety and reliability.
• Provide technical guidance on instrumentation, electrical systems, and process control equipment.
• Develop and implement engineering standards, specifications, maintenance procedures.
• Ensure compliance with applicable industry regulations and standards.
