Illapa Search Ltd in Houston, TX seeks a Business Finance Associate to join its established finance practice. The role will advise on energy and oil & gas financings, cash flow financings, asset-based lending, acquisition financings and sponsor-led transactions.

The ideal candidate has 2–5 years of relevant finance experience, a strong academic record, excellent analytical, drafting and communication skills, and a collaborative, team-oriented approach.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of relevant finance experience, ideally at a recognised law firm.
• A strong academic background with excellent analytical and drafting abilities.
• A collaborative, team-oriented approach and strong communication skills.
• Texas Bar admission preferred, or eligibility within one year of joining.

Responsabilités

• Advise clients on a variety of finance transactions, including energy and oil and gas financings.
• Work on cash flow financings, asset-based lending facilities, acquisition financings and sponsor-led transactions.
• Provide commercially focused legal advice and support clients across complex financing matters.
• Collaborate with colleagues and clients to deliver high-quality legal solutions.
