Responsibilities

• Greet guests and direct to seating or services.

5 STAR Event Services is looking for fun and safety people to join our guest services team for upcoming sports & music events for permanent PART TIME, hourly employment.Check out our current Event Calendar here: www.5starstaff.com/calendarDescription: Event Staff and Security Officers are responsible for the safety and comfort of all clients, guests and other employees.Pay Range: $13.00 and up/per hourDuties:Enforce and uphold the integrity of public and private areas of the job locationMonitor entry and exit points to specific areasPerform routine search/inspection procedures including bag checks and screening of guests and their tickets, credentials, etc. prior to guest entry to ensure that no prohibited items enterGreet and direct guests to seating areas and various servicesMaintain open and smooth access routes of patron/vehicle walkwaysReceive and act on complaints from patrons according to policies and proceduresEnforce all policies and procedures throughout the facility and report any suspicious behaviors or activityAide in the direction of orderly evacuation of the building during emergenciesProvide security escorts per event requirementsQualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The employee must also possess the following qualifications:High School diploma or GED equivalentAt least 18 years of ageReliable forms of communication and transportationLEVEL 2 SECURITY LICENSE (Level II Training & Exam provided for free. Athletic and musical events can be very loud, and employees must be prepared to be exposed to increased noise levels. Some of the events we work take place outside or in open-air venues and take place rain or shine.
