Job summary

Empire Roofing, Inc. is seeking an Estimator/Project Manager for the Houston office to lead new construction estimates and manage project execution from inception to closeout. This role includes cost estimation, schedule adherence, subcontractor coordination, and client communication.

Qualifications

Essential: High School Diploma or equivalent, college preferred.
Desirable: Bachelor Degree in Engineering or Construction Management.
Strong communication, planning and organizational abilities.

Responsibilities

Estimates job costs and submits proposals for review.
Manages projects to meet targeted schedules and costs.
Reviews and approves invoices, material slips, purchase orders, contracts, and proposals to verify scope.
Resolves disputes with clients and past due accounts efficiently.
Maintains and protects all company equipment, vehicles, and policies.
Tracks and controls labor and material costs of jobs.
Invoices contract, time, and material projects.
Coordinates with prime and subcontractors on schedules and changes.
Fields customer requests, questions and complaints.
