CyberCoders seeks a Litigation Associate Attorney in Houston, TX to join a busy civil defense team. You will manage a diverse caseload, develop strategy, draft pleadings and motions, conduct discovery, and represent clients in court when needed.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years in civil litigation, strong research and writing skills, and experience with insurance defense and personal injury matters. You will coordinate with insurers, partners, and clients to achieve favorable outcomes.

Formación

• J.D. from an accredited law school and admission to Texas bar.
• 4+ years of civil litigation experience with insurance defense exposure.
• Proven courtroom experience, including motions, depositions, and trials.
• Excellent research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.

Responsabilidades

• Manage a varied civil litigation caseload with insurance defense focus.
• Develop and implement litigation strategy; draft pleadings, motions, and briefs.
• Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda on complex issues.
• Handle discovery including interrogatories and requests for production.
• Take and defend depositions; coordinate trial testimony.
• Negotiate settlements and communicate with clients and insurers.
