Job summary

ProCare Therapy in the Houston area is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist for a full-time contract across multiple schools. You will provide direct and consultative OT services for ages 3–21, conduct evaluations, participate in ARDs, and lead collaboration with families and educational teams.

Candidates must hold a Texas OT license, have school-based or pediatric OT experience, manage a caseload of about 70, and be comfortable traveling between campuses using your own transportation.

Qualifications

• Current, active Texas OT license.
• School-based or pediatric OT experience.
• Willingness to travel between schools in the zone.
• Caseload around 70 (30-40 direct; rest consult).
• Strong organizational skills for rotating schedules and IEP documentation.
• Ability to work independently (no COTAs assigned).
• Reliable transportation for travel between campuses.
• State fingerprinting/background check completion.
• Affidavit required if previously employed/terminated from a district.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and consultative OT services for students ages 3–21.
• Conduct evaluations and contribute to ARDs.
• Complete thorough documentation and maintain accurate records.
• Serve as lead OT for the assigned zone.
• Collaborate with educational teams and families to maximize outcomes.
