Job summary

Soliant is seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist to serve students in schools across the southwest Houston area. The role involves pediatric and school-based therapy, ARD participation, evaluations, and direct or consultative OT services in a zone covering 6–7 schools.

Caseload totals around 70 students (30–40 direct, remainder consultative). Travel between campuses is required; typical hours are 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. with a district-based home base for coordination.

Qualifications

• Valid and active Texas OT licensure.
• Experience with pediatric or school-based caseloads.
• Open to highly qualified COTAs with substantial school or pediatric experience.
• Ability to drive between assigned schools within a specific zone.
• Clear state fingerprinting/background check.
• Proficiency or willingness to learn SHARES school health and Onward software; Excel for IEP logs.
• Full-time availability (37.5 hours/week) only.
• Never previously employed by this district or terminated from any school district (affidavit required)

Responsibilities

• Provide direct OT treatment and consultative services (no delegated COTAs).
• Attend ARDs and complete evaluations.
• Manage a caseload across 6–7 schools within a commutable zone.
• Maintain strong documentation and IEP logs.
• Typical hours are 8:00–16:00 with occasional early/late start and travel between campuses.
