Job summary

The City of Roseville Housing Division is seeking a Housing Technician to assist in eligibility review, perform annual inspections, and provide information to the public at the counter, via telephone, and through written correspondence.

Qualifications

• Two years of responsible clerical or administrative experience that includes substantial public contact, preferable in a public housing or social/human services environment.
• Associate’s degree or 60 semester units with 18 units in a major field and 21 units in general education; two years of related work experience can substitute for an Associate’s Degree.
• Possession of a valid California driver’s license by date of appointment.

Responsibilities

• Review and monitor client eligibility for affordable housing programs.
• Perform annual inspections of program properties/households to determine compliance.
• Provide information to the public at the counter, via telephone, and in written correspondence.
