Job summary

Westwind Recovery in Los Angeles, CA is seeking a dependable Housing Technician to support clients in our residential housing program. This role combines direct client support, transportation, facility oversight, and accurate documentation.

Shift: 3:00 p.m.–11:30 p.m. Driving is an essential part of this position; applicants must have a valid driver's license and a driving record that meets Westwind Recovery's requirements for transporting clients. CPR and First Aid certifications are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record for client transport.
• CPR and First Aid certifications.
• Ability to respond calmly to changing situations and lift up to 25 pounds.
• Strong judgment, reliability, and communication; respect for client confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Transport clients safely to appointments, activities, and outings.
• Complete housing intakes; monitor activities, passes, adherence to house rules.
• Conduct room checks and drug testing per procedures.
• Keep residences clean and tour-ready via daily walkthroughs and chores follow-up.
• Observe and report client concerns; document activities and update housing team.
• Monitor vehicle cleanliness; report maintenance or safety issues.
• Follow medication administration and logging procedures as assigned.

• Transport clients safely to appointments, activities, and outings.

• Complete housing intakes and monitor client activities, passes, and adherence to house expectations.

• Conduct assigned room checks and drug testing in accordance with company procedures.

• Maintain clean, orderly, tour‑ready residences through daily walkthroughs and follow‑up on chores.

• Observe and report client concerns, document activities, and communicate updates to the housing team.

• Monitor vehicle cleanliness and report maintenance or safety concerns.

• Follow company procedures for medication administration and logging, as assigned.

Qualifications
