Job summary

Transitional Services, Inc. is seeking a Housing Support Specialist to provide direct housing assistance within the Permanent Supportive Housing Program. The role focuses on helping OBH consumers identify, secure, and sustain affordable housing aligned with their needs.

Responsibilities include training and inter-team collaboration to ensure service quality and adherence to agency principles, with hours Mon-Fri 8A-4P and a $1000 sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work or other social service field plus 1 year of Mental Health, Residential or Human Service experience; a degree is preferred.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to use core rehabilitation skills and work as part of an interdisciplinary team.
• Ability to perform basic computer data entry.

Responsibilities

• Provide housing support, training and assistance to OBH consumers in the Permanent Supportive Housing Program.
