Liberty Resources in Oneida, NY is seeking a Full Time Housing Specialist to support individuals and families in maintaining permanent housing through the OMH Supportive Housing program.

The role involves assessing barriers, developing service plans, coordinating with DSS/SSI/HUD, delivering diverse supportive services, and maintaining timely documentation; starting rate $22.84 per hour.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent and 1–3 years related experience.
• Associate’s with 1–3 years related experience or a BA.
• Valid New York State Driver’s License and reliable transportation.

Responsabilités

• Provides housing placement and ongoing rental assistance and supportive services.
• Completes a Strengths-based Assessment related to housing stability.
• Creates individualized service plans and coordinates services with providers.
• Ensures continuity of client services and timely documentation.
• Offers crisis intervention, budgeting and income stabilization support.
• Responds to emergencies and maintains staff coverage as needed.
• Maintains relationships with DSS, SSI, HUD, Section 8, landlords, and care managers.
