What you’ll do

• Process applications and check eligibility for housing programs
• Help with re‑certifications, rent adjustments, moves, and more
• Keep participant files organized and assist the public with questions
• Learn the ins and outs of federal housing programs (HUD rules included!)
• Coordinate with teammates, supervisors, and other departments to keep things running smoothly

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
• Must obtain Housing Choice Voucher (HCV) Specialist certification within one year of hire
• Two years of experience in public‑facing or customer service roles. Accounting, mortgage processing, or direct customer service experience is a plus. Experience beyond the minimum may substitute for part of the educational requirement
• Knowledge of HCV program requirements, policies, or procedures is preferred
• Strong computer skills
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and math skills
