Job summary

MLSA (Montana Legal Services Association) in Helena seeks a Renter Legal Assistant to support low-to-moderate income Montanans with housing issues. The role may be based in MLSA's Helena office or performed remotely.

You will conduct intake interviews, coordinate referrals to pro bono attorneys, and communicate with applicants, clients, and navigators to advance cases. The position offers full-time hours, 35 per week, and a strong benefits package.

Responsibilities

• Process intake applications from housing applicants via phone.
• Coordinate communication among applicants, clients, intake navigators and Renter Practice Group.
• Coordinate referrals to pro bono attorneys when appropriate.
• Collaborate with Bozeman Tenants United as approved by the Supervisor.
