The Nan-Mckay- Assistant Program Director provides leadership and day-to-day oversight to a Housing Choice Voucher department in Jacksonville, FL. In the absence of the Program Director, you plan, develop, implement, and monitor the program, interpreting federal, state and local regulations to ensure compliance.

Lead teams through supervisors, monitor performance and data integrity, and drive customer service excellence while aligning with HUD regulations and the PHA Administrative Plan.

Formación

• Education equivalent to a four-year degree in Public Administration, Social Science, or related field; Master’s preferred.
• Minimum five years of progressively responsible work experience with three years of supervisory experience in public/related social services.
• PHM and HCVEM must be obtained within 120 days of employment; ability to interpret regulations; strong communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Monitor production, quality control and data integrity of transactions completed by Teams.
• Ensure Teams meet and/or exceed NMA performance standards.
• Ensure compliance with PHA Administrative Plan, SOPs and HUD regulations.
• Determine staffing and training needs; coordinate recruiting, training and leadership.
• Ensure timely completion of performance plans, evaluations and disciplinary actions.
• Monitor and approve direct staff time sheets.
• Provide excellent customer service to participants, owners, coworkers and vendors; escalate as needed.
• Evaluate procedures and processes; implement improvements for program excellence.
• Promote open communication across teams and divisions.
• Participate in Department and Division Strategic Planning.
• Obtain certification in Housing Choice Voucher Specialist and Executive Management within 120 days.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
