Job summary

Tuba City Regional Health Care Corporation in Arizona seeks an Assistant Housing Manager to oversee Echo Cliffs housing, supervise maintenance staff, and implement tenant policies. The role includes screening applicants, setting monthly rents, and preparing reports for senior leadership.

You will work with multiple departments to ensure occupancy compliance, safety, and efficient housing operations, while maintaining excellent tenant relations and adherence to Navajo Nation preferences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Engineering, Construction Management or related field.
• Two years experience with property and/or housing management.
• Experience with relocation and household shipping/moving expense.
• Experience supervising maintenance personnel.
• Customer services experience with tenant lease holders.

Responsibilities

• Maintains knowledge of housing/property management policies and procedures and revises/updates as necessary. Interprets policies to tenants with input from the CSSO.
• Supervises staff in maintenance operation and repair of housing; manages recruitment, mentoring, coaching and performance reviews.
• Plans, schedules, and assigns work orders; performs preventive maintenance and housing inspections; assigns staff based on experience and availability.
• Establishes a 24 hour on-call schedule for emergency housing needs and maintains preventative maintenance schedule for property/housing equipment.
• Coordinates and enforces housing occupancy policies; maintains leases and files related to housing units; ensures timely housing inspections and move-in/move-out processes.
