Job summary

SupportWorks Housing in Richmond, VA is seeking a Housing Specialist for HomeLink to help participants obtain and maintain permanent housing. You will coordinate housing navigation, landlord engagement, placements, inspections, recertifications, and rent calculations in collaboration with participants, case managers, landlords and partners.

Ideal candidates have a bachelor's degree and experience in housing counseling or property management, knowledge of HUD standards, and a willingness to

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in housing or related field (preferred).
• Experience in housing counseling or property management is preferred.
• Knowledge of HUD standards and Fair Housing is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Support participants in obtaining and maintaining permanent housing.
• Coordinate housing navigation, landlord engagement, placements, inspections and recertifications.
• Calculate rents and maintain eligibility documentation.
• Complete documentation in HMIS and required systems.
