Paycom - ATS seeks an Overnight Housing Assistant to manage resident intake, monitor activities, and maintain accurate records at the Shreveport shelter. The role requires a high school diploma or GED and involves providing support to residents during overnight shifts.

Responsibilities include checking residents in, maintaining rosters, and ensuring safety checks and paperwork are completed accurately. Experience in security or social services is preferred, with equal opportunity employment for

• Ensures that all rooms are in proper order before and after arrival of residents; checks fire equipment and ensures proper working order.
• Completes required paperwork representing client intake for the day; inputs data into the computer to maintain records and generate client lists; tallies and balances monies with receipts; drops money in the safe.

Job Details: Job Location: ALM-Shreveport La Corps - Shreveport, LA 71101, Position Type: Full Time Regular, Education Level: High School Diploma/GED, Salary Range: $11.00 Hourly, Travel Percentage: None, Job Shift: Overnight, Job Category: Housing, This position is responsible for accepting and processing residents staying in the shelter overnight, monitoring the activity of residents, and maintaining accurate and complete records.

Key responsibilities:

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:

• Ability to meet attendance requirements.
• Ability to read, write and communicate the English language.
• Ability to communicate effectively with clients in order to control, lead, and motivate behavior.
