George Mason University is seeking a Business Analyst in University Life to bridge the Residential Services Assignments team and Housing Residence Life Finance. You will ensure accurate occupancy data flow, support billing reconciliations, and contribute to revenue forecasting.

The role reports to the Director of Housing Residence Life Finance and Business Services and involves collaboration with IT and campus finance staff to maintain compliance with university policies.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Office products and proficiency in Excel.
• Demonstrated experience applying financial concepts in a professional setting, including budgeting principles, revenue tracking, and account reconciliation processes.
• Experience developing, documenting, and presenting financial or operational data; experience creating reports for leadership use.
• Experience leading teams or managing projects and coordinating responsibilities.

Aufgaben

• Ensures accurate timing and processing of data transmissions related to room rental billing.
• Generates and distributes manual invoices for external groups using Mason spaces.
• Coordinates with HRL Summer Operations to support client billing and postings in the central financial system.
• Develops and maintains proficiency in Mason’s financial systems and reporting tools.
• Supports audit responses and compliance reporting for internal and external reviews.
