Housing New Mexico | Mortgage Finance Authority is seeking an analyst to support the Housing Development Program Managers by handling loan and grant processing, documentation, and record keeping for affordable housing projects.

The role involves coordinating with servicing and accounting, preparing closing documents, reviewing applications, and ensuring timely submission of reports and invoices. A detail‑oriented communicator will thrive in this position in Albuquerque, NM.

Qualifications

• High school diploma; three years’ experience in commercial/multifamily loan documentation, processing and lending, closing loans, title work and/or related fields.
• Bachelor’s degree may substitute for work experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage and track all stages of loan pipeline, coordinating workflow with other Loan Processors, Program Coordinators, and Development Loan Managers.
• Prepare and maintain accurate internal and external use reports.
• Order third party reports such as credit bureau reports, appraisals, etc.
• Review and determine completeness of loan application materials per checklist. Process and track external funding requests and approvals.
• Coordinate loan/grant related interdepartmental activities and loan closing, providing or requesting information as needed.
• Prepare closing checklists and prepare accurate initial loan/grant documents consistent with loan approvals and program policies for Development Loan Manager review.
