Job summary

The University of Southern Indiana in Evansville is seeking a Custodial Worker, Housing to maintain cleanliness and safety in student housing facilities. You will clean lobbies, offices, restrooms, dining areas, dorms, labs, and common spaces, perform floor care, restock supplies, and assist with setup for classes and events.

Standard shifts vary across day parts with some overtime; applicants should be able to lift up to 100 pounds with assistance and work with a diverse community.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Working knowledge of computers, internet, and email systems.
• Ability to work with a diverse group of individuals.

Responsibilities

• Perform general cleaning of lobbies, offices, conference rooms, restrooms, floors, dining areas, and common areas in dorms and apartments.
• Clean fixtures and restock supplies.
• Clean, sweep, vacuum, mop, and maintain floors and stairs.
