Cypress Hills Local Development Corporation (CHLDC) is a nonprofit community development organization and settlement house serving the East New York neighborhood in Brooklyn. Our agency sponsors high‑quality childcare and youth development, urban agriculture, public health, community organizing, college success, community development, housing counseling, and economic development projects and programs. We serve 20,000 neighborhood residents annually, and our budget includes a healthy mix of government, foundation, and corporate grants as well as private donor support.
