Job summary

SC Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities (BHDD) Office of Mental Health seeks a Mental Health Professional to coordinate housing programs and assess patients for progression within the Housing continuum. The role supports community-based housing and ensures access to appropriate care environments.

Qualifications

• Master's degree and two years of post-graduate experience in clinical counseling.
• Licensed or eligible for SC licensure within six months of employment.
• Evidence of clinical experience providing direct patient care.
• Credentialing requirements must be met for BHDD-OMH core services.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the Center’s housing programs, including Community Housing, Homeshare, and related housing initiatives; coordinate contracts, patient agreements, outreach and waitlist activities.
• Collaborate with Transition Programs staff and partners; coordinate patient housing referrals and move-ins.
• Enter and maintain Community Housing data in the EHR and prepare the monthly Community Housing report.
• Maintain Homeshare program and patient information in the EHR and SharePoint site.
• Participate in OMH or partner agency programs and activities.
