This role requires trauma-informed approach, experience with survivors, MS Office skills, and a valid NYS driver's license.

Responsible for the delivery of case management services to survivors of gender-based violence. The Housing/Hotline Case Manager is also responsible for operating ROADS hotline, assisting with housing applications, engaging in community outreaches, screening for needs, and connecting survivors to the most supportive services.
Operate the ROADS hotline. Support families, including children over age 6, by providing case management that enables them to become more economically self-reliant, maintain permanent housing, build job skills, and access community resources independently. Document all services delivered with and on behalf of the clients in AWARDS. This staff member will support survivors through a trauma-focused lens to assess for appropriateness of ROADS services, develop a survivor consented service plan, facilitate linkages to social service programs; and explore options for safety, legal, financial, employment, housing, medical care, etc. This staff member will support survivors assessing their own resources and support systems.
Actual compensation will not be less than the applicable minimum wage, prevailing wage, or exempt salary requirements under federal, state and local laws.
