Job summary

YWCA Seattle King Snohomish is hiring a Landlord Engagement Specialist to help families secure housing in Snohomish County by engaging landlords and coordinating with Rapid Rehousing and Housing Navigators.

The role emphasizes anti-racism and equity, with a focus on collaboration across partners and strong communication, confidentiality, and organizational skills. 28 hours/week, $28/hr, full benefits, and a meaningful non-profit impact.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 3+ years in property/housing management or real estate.
• Experience with case management and working in transitional housing is a plus.
• Knowledge of local housing services and fair housing principles.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel; ability to learn HMIS and data reporting systems.

Responsibilities

• Process referrals and complete intake paperwork.
• Meet with participants to gather eligibility documentation and rental information.
• Maintain confidential files and HMIS data; input service data.
• Develop landlord relationships and coordinate meetings with landlords and property managers.
• Coordinate with agencies to design and implement landlord outreach in Snohomish County.
• Attend meetings and participate in program activities; support social justice initiatives.
