Job: Housewares Inventory Specialist

FLSA Status: Hourly, Non-Exempt

Position Reports to: Operations Manager

Work Location: Houston, TX

Responsibilities:

The Housewares Inventory Specialist's primary responsibility is to handle linen care, maintain housewares inventory, and prepare housewares kits for delivery within CWS standards and procedures.

• Washing, drying, stain treatment, folding, sorting, organization, and storage of all linen.
• Clean and maintain housewares inventory.
• Maintain and prepare/pack housewares kits for new set-ups.
• Keep inventory of all cleaning supplies and communicate needs to the operations manager.
• Keep all equipment in proper working order and communicate maintenance needs.
• Adhere to all standard operating procedures and ensure daily/weekly/monthly performance levels are achieved.
• Assist Furniture and Housekeeping teams with duties such as unit set up/take down and housekeeping as needed.
• Travel to CWS business regions to complete job-related tasks as needed.
• Support and uphold company mission, vision, and values.
• Promote positive teamwork and communication with team members and clients by interacting tactfully, providing constructive feedback, being open to criticism, and assisting coworkers.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

This role operates in a warehouse and apartment community environment. It involves routine use of household cleaning supplies and exposure to dust, fumes, and gases. It requires maintaining body equilibrium to prevent falls, bending, lifting up to 50 lbs, and transporting objects.

Hours: Monday-Friday: 8:30am-5:30pm

Education/Certification: High School diploma, GED, or equivalent

Experience: At least 1 year of housekeeping or laundry attending experience preferred.

Requirements: Ability to pass background, drug, and driving record checks annually; maintain a valid driver’s license meeting company standards; current automobile insurance and registration.
