Job summary

Callaway Resort & Gardens in Pine Mountain, GA is seeking a hotel housekeeping associate to clean and stock guest rooms, deliver linens and supplies, and maintain high standards of cleanliness.

You will work with a friendly team, follow safety procedures, and provide welcoming service to guests while meeting a fast-paced schedule. Previous hotel housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred; must be at least 18, able to lift 20 lbs, and have reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• Experience in cleaning or housekeeping preferred.
• Customer service experience in hotel setting preferred.
• At least 18 years old.
• Able to work weekends and holidays.
• Lift, pull, and push up to 20 lbs.
• Fast-paced environment with guest interaction.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong English communication skills (speak/read/write).
• Have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Collect trash and dirty linen and deliver to soiled linen pickup area and dumpsters.
• Deliver clean linen to guest room attendants.
• Deliver all extra supplies.
• Clean fireplaces and grills.
• Ensure equipment is in operation and supplies are stocked; report repairs or shortages.
• Clean ceilings; move heavy furniture; deep clean carpets as assigned.
• Turn in Lost & Found items following procedures.
• Cooperate with other hotel areas to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Ensure areas are free of safety hazards and perform duties safely.
• Be a Team Player and encourage teamwork.

• Be familiar with the operating procedures of all other areas of the hotel, cooperating fully and in a friendly manner with those areas to assure customer satisfaction
• Ensure areas are free of safety hazards and performs all duties in a safe and efficient manner
• Be a Team Player and encourage a team work attitude among staff
• Other duties and tasks as assigned

Job Requirements

• Previous cleaning experience preferred
• Previous customer service experience, preferably in a hotel or related establishment preferred
• Identification verifying you are at least 18 years of age
• The ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
• The ability to lift, pull, and push moderate weight (minimum of 20 lbs.)
• The desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment
• The ability and desire to work independently with little supervision
• Multi-tasking skills
• Strong communication skills - the ability to speak, read, and write in the English Language
• The ability to learn quickly and work in fast-paced position with guest interaction
• Must have a good driving record and valid driver’s License.
