Qualifications

• Must possess positive attitude, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure and independently.
• Must be dependable and available to work weekends, nights and/or holidays based on business demand.
• Ability to work independently with reliability.
• Punctuality and dependable attendance.
• Ability to work weekends, nights, and holidays as needed.
• English reading/writing/speaking required; Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Routinely inventory and care for banquet supplies.
• Set up the banquet room as specified and reset after events.
• Assist servers and handle maintenance issues during events.
• Complete setup and breakdown per BEO details (tables, chairs, bars, stations, buffets).

Job description

Butler Hospitality serves the world’s best hotel operators (Hersha, Real Hospitality, Crescent, M&R) to increase the efficiency of their food and beverage operations. Butler Hospitality takes over restaurants inside of full-service hotels and transforms their kitchens into delivery hubs that provide virtual room service and catering to nearby limited- and select-service hotels.

Duties and Responsibilities

You must routinely inventory and care for banquet supplies such as linens, chairs, china, glassware, flatware, and decorations. You are required to set up the banquet room per the specification of a banquet events order, and then reset the room to its original state after the event has concluded. During the event, duties include assisting servers, transporting tables and equipment, reporting maintenance issues to management, and providing requested information to banquet patrons.

Responsible for the complete setup and breakdown of all events, following all specified BEO details and event diagrams, including but not limited to tables, chairs, portable bars, stations, and buffets.

Maintaining all equipment, tools, and supplies while following all procedures and policies set forth by the company, division, department, and County health department.

Follows grooming and uniform standards established for this role.

Performs all other duties as directed by the immediate supervisor.

• Ability to speak, read, write and understand English, and speaking Spanish is a plus
• Punctuality and regular and reliable attendance
