Job Summary

  • Ensure cleanliness of guest floor corridors, foyers, stairwells, and public vending areas
  • Clean and sanitize the gym and lobby’s public bathrooms
  • Assist room attendants to maintain the Sheraton’s high standards of quality

Summary of Essential Job Functions

  • Stock linen closets with amenities and supplies for room attendants; may include delivering supplies directly to rooms
  • Empty room attendant carts of soiled linen and trash
  • Clean and spot-clean corridor walls and doors; polish and clean mirrors, room numbers on guest room doors, and elevator doors
  • Vacuum, sweep, and mop hallways, stairwells, vending areas, public areas, restrooms, offices, and foyers
  • Flip mattresses and move furniture as assigned by supervisor
  • Adhere to attendance policies and be available to work on a regular basis
  • Ensure all closets and linen chutes are locked at all times
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned

  • Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times
  • Good communication skills with guests
  • Team player willing to assist co-workers with their duties
  • Ability to lift, bend, stoop, walk, push, or pull heavy equipment; stand for extended periods
